    day off #2

We got to spend our day off at Lake Shasta in Northern California.  All day I was irresponsibly jumping off of tall objects into the water.  My diving skills have developed since I was a kid and I was able to pull off a back flip, a front flip, a 1 and a half front flip dive thingy, and a belly flop!

At the end of the day we were heading back into where the docks were to return the boat and a few of us decided to try one last death defying stunt.

Hunter, Bill Doc, Danny, Joel, and myself tied a rope to the back of the boat without the driver knowing.  We through the rope into the water and followed it right in.  We dragged ourself behind the boat in the water for about 100 yards until we lost Hunter and had to tell Scooter to turn around.  He couldn’t hear us yelling but he eventually stopped because he got pulled over by a police boat haha.  No ticket was issued but everyone who jumped in the water had to sit on the bench until we got back to the dock.

Next, we got back to the bus and started throwing the baseball which quickly turned into homerun derby.  We played for about an hour and a half then stopped after Danny got hit in the face by a foul ball… :/

After that eventful boating trip and homerun derby exhibition we hung out around the bus and Blake from Versa Emerge taught me how to play blues guitar.  I’m trying to expand my knowledge as a guitarist, so it was sick!

    day off #2 complete.
