I wanted to tell everyone about my weekend:

Friday morning, I got onto a flight to Boston Massachusetts, for what would turn out to be one of the best weekends of my life.

It started with a show in the evening to over 2,000 people at Patriots Place in Gillette Stadium.  After the show, I stayed outside and signed everything and took pictures for everyone who stayed to meet us.  It was honestly such a fun show, no matter how cold it was outside.  Realistically, it was only about 45 degrees, but for a Florida boy, that is wayyyyy too cold!!!

Saturday morning started off with press, interviews, photo shoots, and ended with preparation for our 2nd performance which was held on Sunday afternoon before the New England Patriots football game.  I was also graced with the honor of singing, Sunday afternoon, the National Anthem on the field just before the kick off.  I had spent the past week practicing relentlessly for the anthem.  One of the hardest songs to perform live for a couple reasons:

1) it’s not my song

2) I was singing for 80,000 people

3) it was A Cappella so no backing tracks

4) lastly, I had to play a show directly before, so I was praying that my voice didn’t go out (which it didn’t)!

Sunday morning I woke up with nothing else in my head other than the national anthem.  We played the show for everyone who entered the stadium then I was taken into the prep area of the field to get ready to sing.  What felt like years, ended up being exactly 1 minute 28 seconds.  I did it.  I successfully sang the national anthem without messing up the words or doing anything silly.

This weekend was unreal and I will never forget every single moment that happened during it.  It gets me excited to do another tour :)
