I’m sorry I have been slacking on posts :(

I just got done flying from Austin Texas to Phoenix Arizona and when we landed the pilot said that there was a security breach at our terminal and that we couldn’t park at our gate anymore…pretty wild stuff, but it got me thinking, with the amount of security that airports have nowadays HOW are threatening people STILL getting through???
The Take Action Tour is going great so far, we are about 4 weeks in and having a blast so far, thanks to everyone coming to the shows and helping make this tour a success :)
Also a big congratulations to my brother from another mother Shaun White for his victory in the Olympics!!
all into the valentines day stuff so I wrote a love song :)
“With every single dollar i’ll be sure to buy you flowers, because money is no problem when love’s free. I’d trade in all my years just to spend with you a single hour, as long as you’ll spend it with me.”
acoustic album on it’s way!
I just recieved one of the most amazing gifts of my life as a member of We The Kings.
Today we played a small acoustic show for a radio station in Grand Rapids Michigan. After the show we hung around for a little bit to meet some of the amazing people that were at the show. Just before leaving I was handed an envelope that read: “TRAVIS: if you could take the time to read this, it would mean the world to me.”
I hopped in our car service and opened the envelope to find over a dozen hand-written letters dated from August 2008 all the way to January 2010.
After each letter I read I was more and more blown away from everything she was saying. It talks about the first time she heard our music in the mall and had to find the CD that instant and when she bought it, she ran to her car to listen to it over and over again! After listening to the CD front to back 4 times she began writing the first of many letters to me. That was in August of 2008.
Each new letter was another month explaining how much of an impact We The Kings has had on her life.
The moral of the story is that I’ve been sitting in the back of the car on the way to our show tonight reading every single word that this girl wrote down and I am so incredibly thankful for these letters.
To the person that wrote the letters:
I don’t know if you will read this but I want you to know that you are the exact reason why I write songs and play music. There is no better compliment than hearing that our music changes people’s lives for the better. Thank you very much!
To everyone:
I’m so happy to be where I am and I couldn’t have done it without letters like these and the support that you guys give us. My family, friends and fans mean everything to me and I just wanted to take the time to write it all down. This blog doesn’t even begin to describe my love for you all, but it’s a start! Thanks to everyone who has supported my dream.
Love,
Travis Clark
